THE CATHOLICISM AND SUNNI ISLAM POSITION AND ROLE IN THE FASCISM AND NATIONAL SOCIALISM IDEOLOGICAL COORDINATE SYSTEM AT THE TURNING POINT OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR
Abstract
The article deals with the issue on the Catholicism and Sunni Islam role in the Italian fascism and German National Socialism ideological coordinate system at the turning point of the Second World War. The methodological procedures of the research constitute a complex approach comprising the components of both rational and civilizational approaches. The theoretical and methodological procedures include system and dialectical approaches based on the principles of logical realism and objectivity. The research has revealed and defined the Catholicism and Sunni Islam position and role in the fascism and National Socialism ideological coordinate system, described their direct influence on the course of historical events as well as specified the political, social and cultural value of these factors in the geopolitics after the Second World War.
