ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR VARIABLES AND HIERARCHICAL REGRESSION ANALYSIS: A RESEARCH

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the relationship between organizational behavior variables by using hierarchical regression analysis. The survey responses collected in the study were analyzed and interpreted using SPSS for Windows 22.00 and AMOS 22.0 program. Descriptive statistical methods (Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation) were used when study data were evaluated. Confirmatory factor analyzes of the scales were performed and the relationships between them were analyzed by hierarchical regression analysis. According to the results of the research, it is understood that age, duration of work, and work experience variables have no effect on job performance. It positively affects the Job performance of the relational psychological contract variable. Making a relational psychological contract, increasing the value of the variable, allows the performance of the business to increase. The relational psychological contract explains 13.6% of the work performance. It positively affects the Business performance of the organizational identification variable. Increasing the value of organizational identification helps increase business performance. Organizational identification reveals 8.7% of business performance. In addition, 23.4% of job performance is explained by relational psychological contract and organizational identification variables. This study contributed to the literature by providing attention to the importance of research variables of human resources professionals.
