STUDY OF LIVING STANDARDS OF MAIN AGE GROUPS
Abstract
This paper demonstrates inconsistency of GDP per capita as indicator of living standards in Russia. It statistically estimates the living standards of three main age groups by calculating a ratio of income per capita to respective cost of living. Author made a conclusion regarding the governmental financial assistance for birth parents.
