METHODICAL FEATURES OF TEACHING GEOMETRY STUDENTS USING THE DGS
Abstract
The objective of this study is to identify the methodological features of the use of DGS in teaching students geometry. In this article, the technical possibilities of modern DGS such as Geometer's Sketchpad, GeoGebra and Mathematical designer were reviewed and compiled. Based on the analysis of the technical capabilities of DGS and pedagogical literature, the methodological features of the use of IHS and the ways of their effective application in the process of teaching the geometry of students in the main school were revealed. The result of the study is the conclusion that it is necessary to revise the conceptual foundations of teaching geometry and develop a new methodology for teaching geometry using DGS. It will be expected that the use of DGS in the teaching of geometry will support the active independent activity of students in accordance with modern requirements for mastering the content of training, contribute to improving the quality of teaching, increasing motivation for studying geometry, creative activity of students.
