Abstract

This report describes a document management system in the university related to the learning process. As an example of the application and shows a faculty. The design of the system has developed using three-tier architecture, which allows the separation of key components for efficient reuse of code and allow options for parallel development. The development of system allowing professors and students involved in the development increase their knowledge and acquire practical skills in the design, development and implementation of such software systems. The description of this work can be used as an illustrative example in the training of students in the courses related to computer science. The development and implementation of a system for process automation and document are expected to strengthen coordination between employees, departments, and management. This system improves the control of various tasks related to the learning process, taking into account the time and the deadline for their implementation. Implementation of the system in the faculty is expected to result in optimization of the information flows associated with the main administrative activities that will enhance the quality of management control and security. In the future the system is meant to expand with more useful features including access to a wider range of consumers and should be integrated into the ERP system of the university.
