THE IMPORTANCE OF WORK IN THE PROCESS OF BRINGING UP A YOUNG PERSON
Abstract
The study is an analysis of the subject literature and qualitative research in the area of the importance of work in raising a young person. At present, the education to a job which determines the functioning of a person in a given environment seems very important. It is also essential to emphasize the work process in the process of raising a young person. Education consists in preparing a man for “social participation” in the present times is not only extremely important, but also difficult. However, omission of such education may be disastrous for the individual as well as the whole generation. On parents and educational environments depends how a young person will be shaped, and by that, what future society will look like. Education is the basis for building an open and self-respecting society. Charles Hanford Henderson, writes that “to educate is to create in the child's soul a moral and aesthetic image of the universe. Educating this does not mean giving someone a profession, as a way to live, but preparing his soul for life” [1]. The effect of the analyses is to indicate the possibility and importance of upbringing through work in the work process and to show the importance of work as a value in contemporary socio-economic realities.
