Abstract

Modern information technologies influence significantly on various aspects of social life. The boundaries of this influence include the discussion of questions related with the trends development of science and education. Terms such as В«Science 2.0В», В«escienceВ», В«e-LearningВ» is currently fast established in discourses on the problems of research and educational practices. Sometimes the content of these and other similar concepts has constructive characteristics. But more often application of these terms has a metaphorical meaning. Metaphors can play both positive and negative role in the scientific and cognitive activity. In the latter case, they can become a source of incorrect decisions. The purpose of this article is the philosophical and methodological analysis of "computer metaphors" in a modern educational discourse. In the course of implementation of this purpose is entered the concept of "metamorphoses of terms". This concept reflects transformation of semantic characteristics of terms as a result of using of metaphors. The results received during research can be useful to an assessment of the contents of the publications devoted to application of IT technologies in education and also in the analysis of efficiency of the represented e-learning systems.
