ERGONOMIC EVALUATION OF WORKING POSTURES FOR MANUAL COMPLETION COMPONENTS
Abstract
The damages of musculoskeletal system arising as a result of incorrect ergonomic arrangement of man – machine interface are current problems nowadays. The article discusses the application of ergonomic evaluation methods of routine working position. These include standardized methods but also physical methods Rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) and Rapid entire body assessment (REBA). They were used for evaluation of hand manual work completion lightweight components. The positions were considered separately for the trunk, head and neck, upper and lower limbs and compared with a neutral position and time depending on the duration of the concrete action. The results obtained were compared with the acceptability criterion value. The output of the article is the proposed measures for the assessed activity in order to minimize ergonomic risks and avoid the deterioration of musculoskeletal disorders caused by work.
