STUDIES REGARDING THE IMPLICATIONS OF SALINE AEROSOLS IN IMPROVING HUMAN PERFORMANCE IN SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Abstract
The paper presents the experimental data obtained on two groups of students, one for the experiment and the other as a witness. For this purpose, two classrooms and a school gym were used, organized in halochamber regime, respectively in normal microclimate conditions. The groups were differentiated by sex and age, comprising children born in 2006 and 2007, at the age with the highest growth rate. Harmonious physical development was pursued by correlating two biometric characteristics (weight and thoracic perimeter of human subjects), which allow to establish the evolution of the balance between optimal weight and thoracic perimeter of students), with school activities performed daily in halochambers for experimental groups and in normal climatic conditions for the reference group. The structuring of the didactic program in the classes and in the physical education classes was differentiated according to the lesson plan. The experiment provided for the processing of primary data in average values, represented graphically, regarding the evolution over time of two morpho-structural characteristics (weight and thoracic perimeter), for each group of students, differentiated by the two age levels (2006 and 2007) and by gender. The results showed the evolution, differentiated by age and sex, of the weight and thoracic perimeter of the human subjects studied and it was reconfirmed that girls interact more strongly with saline aerosols, having higher values for boys than the two parameters.
