INNOVATIVE MEDIA PEDAGOGIC TECHNOLOGIES AS A CONDITION OF SOCIAL ADAPTATION OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES IN THE RYAZAN REGION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Abstract
The purpose of this study was experimental testing and adaptation to Russian conditions of innovative methods of correction and rehabilitation work with modern media resources (photos, audio and video) to develop the skills of social adaptation of children and adolescents with disabilities of any etiology. The study was conducted in the framework of the German-Russian project "Navigator of the Future" in partnership of Ryazan State University (Ryazan, Russia) with an international educational center "Bennohaus Burgerhaus" (Munster, Germany). The pilot project confirmed the effectiveness of innovative educational technologies and let expand the research experimental basis to 40 organizations from Ryazan and Munster (main phase of the study). At the final stage there was held modification and adaptation of media educational methods tailored to the needs of persons with disabilities of various etiologies for introduction into wide practice. Methods of research: project method (implementation of media pedagogical projects), the method of case study, the method of expert evaluations. Key findings: the efficiency of media pedagogical technology in correctional and rehabilitation process of persons with disabilities of any etiology, and in inclusive groups was proved. Recommendations for the use of media educational methods in a broad inclusive practice were given.
