Abstract

The purpose of the article is to identify the specifics of adaptation and life of orphans and children left without parental care after graduation from orphanages, which is associated with multiple social, legislative and ethical problems in society. Arrangement of teenagers-graduates of orphanages after graduation, as well as their lack of experience and skills to adapt to real life situations, is an urgent problem of Russian society. The article analyzes the current view on the problem of orphansВ’ adaptation, conducted in this area research in Russia and abroad, presents the results of empirical research, which served as a vector for the development of a strategy for working with potential orphanage graduates in order to develop the skills of independent life. A test sheet was developed with the proposed criteria for the future life of adolescents, with the help of which a study was conducted, which allowed to highlight the prerogatives in the life of graduates of orphanages and children living in the care of parents. The results allowed to identify the main guidelines in the pedagogical and educational process of potential orphanage graduates in order to develop their own life skills, which will not only preserve the adolescentsВ’ independence, but also to abstract from the negative, illegal and criminal situations in real life.
