EFFECTS OF USING INDIVIDUAL LEARNING PLANS ON MOTIVATION AND STRATEGY USE
Abstract
The article deals with the process of improving competences and work performance through the provision of a wide range of opportunities for personal and professional growth in knowledge and skills. The purpose was to integrate learning maintenance of the individual learning plan with daily activities. The article brings forward the mechanism for a strategic planning of educational steps, based on the analysis of searching ways. Strategic planning is based on a code of regulation and procedures containing a series of methods the use of which is possible for teachers to ensure prompt measures of reaction to changes. Individual occupations causing emotional and personal character of the relation between students and teachers provide the practice focused training orientation. Further, within researching the author used a number of different methods to conduct research. These methods included unobtrusive observation, case studies, interviews, surveys an investigator data and performing analyses to determine. Interviewing was major source of the qualitative data for understanding the phenomenon under study. Interviews provided an opportunity to investigate ideas and beliefs of participants. The study comprised a series of individual interviews. Through interviews the researcher was able to discover experience that may have taken place in student lives. Data also comprised of student work. The tasks used in the study were analyzed in terms of the content stated to be appropriate for various levels in curriculum document. The results from those studies have been used to established representativeness of the finding The study involved 60 students of the first year at the university .As a result it was revealed three groups: with highly motivation, with low motivation, with highly motivation but insufficient abilities. On the basis of identified trends and diagnosis of training success monitoring or individual plan was developed. Much attention is given to self-monitoring check. In variety of surveys carried out to analyze students satisfaction language training emerged, we would have to cater to different interest and abilities. Many students have a strong belief in their inability to learn a foreign language. In addition our task was to evaluated and monitor performance. Attempts are made to analyze steps to developing individual plans of our students. Using individual plans promote data and knowledge creation assists students in conducting research. Students are also forced to reflect on what they have learned and how they plan to build and improve in the future. We do not have final results but I can either include any preliminary results that we do have. The syllabi should not be static, but should be continually revised and adapted to meet the needs of students and showed their dynamics.
