SOME ASPECTS REGARDING COLOR SCHEMES IN ORDER TO CREATE VISUAL ATTRACTIVE WEBSITES
Abstract
It is essential to know how color choices influence people, the idea that there is one unique psychological reaction to certain colors being incorrect. Many of the reactions that color psychologists attribute to certain colors are based on personal experience. It is also interesting to note that many cultures have associations of colors with completely different interpretations. Therefore, we will explore some general associations that most people in Western cultures have as a response to certain colors. Although color psychology plays a role in how a visitor sees a website, remember that there is no such thing as a wrong color. Although psychological reasoning can help you choose a palette, a successful color scheme depends on the harmony that exists between all chosen colors. To achieve this harmony, we have to consider several other attributes of color. Of course, not only the color makes a website attractive, but this element is crucial. When we create a website, other elements play their roles, such as its structure, content organization etc. In this paper, we will analyze certain aspects regarding the color theory with direct application in a website construction design, and the main purpose, from this point of view, is that site become attractive.
