The authors of the study define the basic problems of moral education in primary and secondary schools. They point to the educational potential of a specific subject "Ethics" for the moral development of pupils. They analyse the learning opportunities of personal and socio-moral competencies of pupils in the process of formative assessment in teaching ethics.
