The purpose of the article is to investigate how the national intangible resources are evaluated in European Union countries. It was distinguished two perspectives of intangibles research. Value of intangibles gained by applying different methodologies was compared for particular European Union countries. It was identified that results gained using different methodologies are strongly correlated; also it was shown that business sector intangibles constructs small part of intangible capital in a country.

The purpose of the article is to assess the exchange rate forecasting possibilities with a modified microstructure approach model. In this research, the main model's element order flow is represented by dealer clients' long/short positioning ratio. A regression analysis is done to distinguish whether it is possible to forecast the exchange rates with clients' long/short positioning ratio.
