Central Park in Astana lies on the bank of the Ishim River. In the past, the park’s area consisted of three equal zones — a recreation zone, amusement zone and ceremonial zone. In the recent years, a redevelopment of the park took place. The new project consists in dividing the park into six zones with different functions. The park has a beach and a sports zone.
